We couldn’t have done this without you—literally! After all, this is a reader’s choice award, and we only won because of you!
Thanks to your votes, 1Password for Mac won About.com’s Reader’s Choice Award for 2013 in the Best Mac System Utility category. We were up against some great competition, but in the end, the people have spoken.
Thanks again to everyone who voted, and don’t worry, we won’t let it go to our head. We have plenty of reasons on the way in 1Password 4 to earn your vote in the next contest.
We’re having a great time at Macworld/iWorld 2013 in San Francisco right now meeting customers and fellow developers face-to-face.
While we thought we had our booth all set up for the duration of the expo, I guess The Mac Observer disagreed. Yesterday, the fine folks over there made a significant contribution to our booth’s overall vibe by honoring us with a Editor’s Choice Award for 1Password for iOS!
We’re thrilled to earn this award this year and, as you can see in our photo gallery, we’re displaying it with pride. If you haven’t stopped by yet, I’m having a hard time understanding why. Besides today (Saturday, February 2) being the last day of the expo, you have the greater facts to contend with that you’re awesome, we’re told we’re awesome, and awesome people are simply bound for each other, so come say hi!
iMore has announced its 2012 Editors Choice Awards, calling it for everything from devices, to apps, to stories, and even accessories. A lot of great stuff made their list, and we were super excited to see 1Password named iPad Utility of the Year! Thanks to Rene Ritchie and the iMore staff for such kind words!
If you still haven’t picked up iMore’s iPad Utility of the Year, or what we would call An All-Around Awesome Password and Identity Manager for iPhone and iPad, now is the perfect time to do it because 1Password for iOS is still on sale for over 50% off! But run, don’t walk—when 2012 ends in a couple days, so does our sale!
We don’t always wake up to an award on Friday.
But when we do, we’re glad the award is from Tap Magazine.
We were thrilled to hear this morning that Tap, the iPhone and iPad Magazine, has named 1Password Pro (our universal version for iPhone and iPad) as “one of the 100 apps that everyone with an iOS device should install right now.” I mean, we’ve kinda thought the same thing for a while now, but it’s always good to get a second opinion!
You can view our award listing at Tap Magazine’s site alongside some great company in our category, or pick up Tap’s new issue in stores or in their custom-built iPad and iPhone magazine app in, naturally, the App Store.
If you are like the rest of us, you probably woke up this morning and said to yourself “la dee da, today will be just another day in the Mac App Store.” Like the rest of us, you were a little off the mark.
To our surprise, Apple announced the Best of Mac App Store 2011 today, and it’s a pretty great list of some of the best apps you really should own. Pixelmator won App of the Year, and and Civilization V scored Game of the Year. But wait, what’s that nestled in the Best Apps of 2011 among such great peers as Day One, Fantastical, and Flare?
Why, it’s 1Password! We’re delighted to get this recognition from Apple, and honored that you, our Agile Customers, helped us add this feather to our cap.
